Yangon Amazing Grace Academy was founded in 2017 by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Saw Aung Than Hnit, under its original name, Amazing Grace Education Center. After many years in ministry, he recognized that countless children were lacking both basic education and biblical teaching. With a sincere burden for these young lives, God answered his prayers by connecting him with a Filipino missionary who inspired and encouraged him to establish a church-based school. From its beginnings, the academy has been dedicated to providing quality education rooted in Christian values, combining academic excellence with spiritual growth.

Since its founding, Yangon Amazing Grace Academy has grown into a vibrant institution where hundreds of students from across Myanmar receive both academic instruction and biblical training. Widely recognized within the community as a trusted and qualified school, the academy continues to expand its impact. To date, it has proudly produced three high school graduates with honors, a milestone that reflects its commitment to excellence. The academy also shines in extracurricular achievement, with students earning multiple awards each year at the Regional Student Convention across a variety of categories.
